At midnight last 10 December 2022, in an emotional event broadcast nationally, celebrating a tribute to Democracy and Human Rights in Argentina. Under the call of the Ministry of Culture, an outstanding ensemble of artists joined together to perform the ‘Himno Nacional Argentino’ (Argentine National Anthem), fusing musical styles, from tango to tango. The event was a fusion of musical styles, from tango and folklore to pop, rock, cumbia, rap, free style and beat box.
Directed by Julián Caeiro, the orchestral ensemble provided the musical foundation while renowned artists such as Tita Print, Dolores Solá, Flor Bobadilla, Nadia Larcher, Candelaria Zamar, Mica Chauque, Guillermo Fernández, Leo García, Miss Bolivia, L-Gante, Miloo Moya and Rayo, expressed their art in a unique way. Each brought their distinctive musical style, infusing the anthem with arrangements that reflect the diversity and richness of Argentina’s music scene.

At a high point, ‘María Castillo De Lima’ had the honour of leading the chorus and the end of the hymn, lending prestige to the official version with her masterful rendition. The cover of ‘Nunca Más’, the historic 1984 Conadep report, was projected onto the façade of the Casa Rosada.
All the artists joined in an angelic chorus for the powerful ‘O juremos con gloria morir!’, creating an unforgettable moment that resonates with the continued commitment to democratic values and the fundamental rights of all Argentines.
